We are finally going on a road trip to the north. We had planned this trip for the summer of 2019, but Hannah decided to get married that summer. We were then delay by COVID closures in 2020 and 2021. We were in Argentina for 2022 and 2023, so finally in 2024 everything is aligned for us to spend several months exploring the north. Our high level plan is to go north from Utah to the Canadian National Parks (Banff and Jasper). We will then continue north to Dawson City, Yukon. This is the start of the Dempster Highway that will take us all the way to the Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories of Canada. We will return down the Dempster Highway and then continue into Alaska visiting Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage, Seward, Homer and other parts of Alaska. We plan to return back home in late August or early September, either driving or taking the ferry. This will be a long trip, but we hope to have a great time.
